Situated
at the end of a quiet no - through lane just a few minutes walk from
the post office/store and traditional village pub, our holiday cottage
has a large garden
with outdoor furniture and barbecue - perfect for you and your family
to enjoy summer lunches. There is also ample parking and boat storage
if you'd like to take to the water. |
| The
self catering accommodation consists of a kitchen /dining room with
a large old pine table and french windows to the garden. Appliances
include a stainless steel oven/hob and extractor, microwave, fridge/freezer,
dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The cosy and comfortable
beamed lounge
has an open fire,
television and video, films, books, CDs and games. French windows

The
accomodation also includes a family/games room with open fire, television
and toys. This room is twin aspect, with one window looking out to
the side of the cottage and the garden path. The other, a bay window,
looks out onto the large front lawned garden. |

Upstairs
are three bedrooms, a twin aspect, light and airy double. A twin
bedded room with lovely views over the garden and a smaller
room with adult sized bunk beds and a secret window!
Bedrooms have space in the eaves for case/bag storage and the first
floor uses original or reclaimed floorboards throughout.

The
bathroom
includes bath with separate mains shower over, chrome heated towel
rail, basin and toilet. There is also a cloakroom downstairs with
toilet and basin. Uplay Cottage is in Everton, which is a friendly
village ideally placed one mile from Milford-on-Sea with its beaches,
village green and choice of restaurants and four pubs. Keyhaven is
also close by and has a small harbour, ferry to Hurst Castle, excellent
walking and birdwatching. |
The bustling Georgian quayside town, Lymington, three miles east, is renowned
for its sailing, Saturday market and range of independent shops, variety
of boat trips and ferry link to the Isle of Wight.
The beautiful New Forest lies to the north, with
an abundance of wildlife, excellent throughout the year for all ages,
for walking, riding and cycling (with cycle hire centres at Burley and
Brockenhurst). A selection of local books, maps and attraction leaflets
