A Poetic Farewell

Where in the world did we pray?
Could we find somewhere to get away?
We searched on the Net
And found nothing to let
At a price we were willing to pay.

Then suddenly over the wire
Came a cottage all ready to hire
Sylvan gardens so green
Were a sight to be seen
Complete with a cosy log fire.

The cottage at Uplay was fine
We've had such a jolly good time
The garden with view
Could seat quite a few
And the barbecue was sublime.

The decor Ikea inspired
Enfolded our friends who've retired
With matching duvets
Our heads we did lay
And awoke in the morning live-wired.

And now we're so full of good cheer
We'd like to return every year
Our only request
To better our rest
Could a range of sunbeds be left here?

So Jacquie, Darren and Nic
Seven teachers all give you a tick
For such short days
These Halcyon days
Have certainly done the trick!
