Christmas or new year with family and friends. Our large New
Forest cottages provide enough space for several generations
to spend Christmas together, or for many friends to re-unite
for a special new year’s eve celebration, in what must
be one of winter’s most beautiful areas of the country. |

Our large cottages in the New Forest are ideal for Christmas or New Year as they provide enough space for all the family, grandparents, parents and children to be together for a few days, without compromising on space. Everyone can eat together, The Old Stables, for instance, has a dining table that seats up to 30 people! Imagine Christmas dinner there with the whole family, or a special celebration meal on New Years day following the New Years Eve party the night before, with all your friends in one place together for the new years short break. What better way to kick off the new year!
Our cottages range from family cottages sleeping 6 people, to large cottages sleeping up to 38 or more. We will almost certainly have the small, medium or large new forest cottage for your family group or large group of friends. Booking ahead makes good sense for New Year and Christmas, as they only come around once a year!
We recognise that many people will not want a whole week away at this time of year, so we offer both Christmas and New Year as short breaks, to which you can add extra days at just a nominal cost – still giving you the fexibility to book a short break, a week, or any number of days between.
As well as the Christmas and New Years Eve breaks, we offer a 2 night New Year break from 28th-30th December, an excellent time when many people are off work and school, and taking a short break is easy and convenient. This break is only about half the cost of a new year’s eve break, yet still gives you the opportunity to spend good times with family or friends, and still go out for new years eve when you’re back home if you want to.
Our Christmas cottage breaks are available between 24th December and 28th December, up to 4 nights, working out at a cost of £160 per person, with discounts for children. This break can be extended by adding nights before the 24th, for just £10 per person per night extra.
Our New Years Eve cottage breaks are available between 30th December and 2nd January, up to 3 nights, working out at a cost of £190 per person, with discounts for children. This break can be extended by adding nights after the 2nd, for just £10 per person per night extra.
Our New Year short breaks are available between 28th December and 30th December, up to 2 nights, working out at a cost of just £85 per person, with discounts for children. If combined to extend the New Years Eve or Christmas break, we offer a 10% discount off the New Year short break price.
